Jobs for America's Graduates-Kansas
Lead Specialist for the JAG-K Trauma Professional Learning Committee
I have a passion for helping youth find their path in life, building positive relationships with my students, and being a supportive adult to them. My background is in social work and I have obtained my bachelor level licensure. While working at Kansas Department for Children and Families in Child Protection and Prevention Services, Saint Francis Community Services (Saint Francis Ministries) in Foster Care and Reintegration, and in my current position as Concordia High School's JAG-K Career Specialist, I have been able to gain experience in working with a variety of children, adults, and their families during difficult times. My current position allows me to work with high school aged at-risk students that are facing multiple barriers that could potentially hinder them from being successful in life and in their future careers. Along with my Career Specialist role, I am also the Lead Specialist for the JAG-K Trauma Professional Learning Committee.
